chusch moro cho shoote?
Late Thursday afternoon in Kriens, a small town in central Switzerland. Photographer Maxime Burri comes home from work, exhausted and already planning meetings for the next day's work. At the same time, Levi Luggen calls him from his native Valais: "Maxime! Chusch moro cho shoote? Äs soll sunnig und chalt si und hät gat frischi 30cm Schnee gigäh!" Translation: lots of fresh pow and great weather forecast for tomorrow, which means precisely the kind of day not to be missed.
Crossing Switzerland
Half a second's thought, one call and the request for the next day's leave is validated in 47 seconds. Thanks boss! Maxime reaches Kriens station to catch the last train to Valais, his camera under his right arm and his boardbag under the other.
äs isch än saugeile Tag!
Levi, with his experience of shooting with the boss Silvano Zeiter, gives him 2-3 tips. Maxime, with his rather minimalist approach, concentrates on light and composition. The result of the session: no highlights to report, just a wonderful day from start to finish spent in the mountains with the right people and plenty of great shots to discover below.
