A Weekend at Pierredar

Selina from Urech Optik and Eva from Mountain shop Zermatt with a little refresher on climbing fundamentals with our UIAGM guide Arthur Bucher.
Last weekend, we gathered some of our Glacier people — partners, craftsmen, athletes and friends of the brand — for a short escape above the valley, at the Pierredar mountain hut.
Arthur from Pomoca and Olivier from Optique mon Oeil in Porrentruy leading the way in the Via Ferrata des Dames anglaises.
The idea was simple: spend time together away from screens, shops and meeting rooms, and reconnect with the places and values that inspire our work.
We shared meals, stories and a few bottles of La Golée, watched the evening light slowly disappear behind the surrounding peaks, and enjoyed those unmatched alpine sunsets.
Almost there! Reaching the Glacier 3000 without Gondola :)
After a night in the refuge, we headed out for a day of vertical adventures. After a refresher on climbing fundamentals with our guide Arthur Bucher, we headed out to enjoy a beautiful nearby via ferrata overlooking the valley. There was no competition, no schedule to follow, and no performance to measure — just the simple pleasure of moving through the mountains together.
All the way up after a nice breakfast at the Refuge de Pierredar.

Moments like these remind us why Glacier exists in the first place. Not just to make glasses, but to celebrate a certain way of experiencing the outdoors: slower, more human, and shared with good people.
Nicolas Lehmann and Christine Vogondy, a little stop-over at the refuge before heading to the Eiger ultratrail.
A big thank you to everyone who joined us. We'd call that a pretty nice weekend!
