HAE + Glacier Optics Collab

When there’s an instant connection, it usually means we come from the same universe: snowboarding, skiing, skating, or music.

This collaboration with the Swiss brand HAE is no exception.

TWO BRANDS - ONE LANGUAGE

We’ve felt a genuine connection with the Baumann brothers - founders of this iconic Upper Valais brand - for quite some time now. Even though we come from different linguistic regions, we quickly realized that we share a much deeper language: the language of our Alpine heritage.

No matter which side of the Alps you come from, we understand one another. This shared language, shaped by the mountains, connects us far beyond our home regions.

ORIGINS

HAE. Three letters we grew up with. HAE is the Swiss freestyle brand. Every stylish park or backcountry rider already wore an HAE beanie back in the day. This Valais-born brand has always been one of the first to support young riders and has stayed true to its values of proximity, authenticity, and heart — values we proudly share at Glacier.

COLLAB

To bring this shared spirit to life, we created three objects gathered into a single package, available here for CHF 299.–:

• A beanie featuring edelweiss patterns — an iconic symbol that connects us to the Alps.

• A pair of Vorab sunglasses limited to 10 pieces (with HAE x Glacier Optics engraved), designed as an homage to the 90s.

• A handmade case crafted from recycled climbing ropes.

We don’t just share the same roots, the same passion, and the same mountains — we also share a commitment to production transparency, a desire to honor our Alpine heritage, and a vision of a brand with a human soul.

This collaboration is therefore much more than a simple project. It’s a celebration of this shared culture — the spirit of the Alps.
