On the first weekend of April 2025, we brought together 50 mountain enthusiasts for the first edition of l'Amicale, a snowboard/ski touring training event designed to reconnect people in a way other than through instagram - by forging real links, in real life, in the heart of the Valais Alps, at St-Luc-Chandolin, for our first edition. On March 2026, we went to San Martino di Castrozza for our second edition.
An event open to all Participants from all over Switzerland, but also from Belgium
France and Germany, with all levels of ability represented -from experienced mountaineers to those curious about ski touring for the first time came together 3 days in the Val d'Anniviers.
In addition to technical training, the Amicale was an opportunity to share convivial moments and enriching discussions about the mountains, notably with brand ambassdors as freeriders Jérémie Heitz and Nicolas Falquet. The terrace of the Mont Cervin hotel provided the ideal setting for enjoying a convivial moment, swapping stories and making new friends, while sockets dried out under the sun.
DVA, rescue and steep slopes: the starter pack Accompanied by 7 certified guides, participants took part in hands-on workshops designed to help them better understand the mountains and evolve in complete safety. On the program: DVA search, first aid, fascinating discussions on best practices with, among others, Alex Emery, first aid doctor at Air Glaciers.
With the great snow conditions, some even took their first steep turns, while others did their first rappel!
We wanted to offer an accessible and human event, combining training, sharing and safety. It's always a gamble to launch a first edition: you hope that the message gets across, that the atmosphere takes hold... And then: laughter, meetings, exchanges and mutual support. That's exactly what we
wanted and what we got, with the added bonus of exceptional weather. At the end of the event we were already talking about the next edition!
