L'Amicale is a Freetouring event hosted by Glacier Optics and Pomoca that bring passionate mountain enthusiasts of all levels to share safety training and ski touring / mountainnering with moutnain guide. The event aim to bring people together in a the moutnain to create knowledge and memories. Amicale is a french name that means friendship.

Previous edition program:
This year the Amicale will take place in San Martino di Castrozza in the Dolomites in Italy. If you have never heard about it, it's because it might be one of this place that only exist in your dreams.
We take the same ingredient that the previous version. Discover, share and explore the mountains with your skins and mountains guides. 3-days of ski touring and splitboard in good company learning and teaching each other.
This year we will stay at Carla's place. The hotel Regina 4**** nested in the heart of San Martino di Cadtrozza and at Duilio's hut in Pradidali.

The Amicale is an event co-organised by Glacier Optics and Pomoca which aim to bring together passionate people from all levels and all horizons.

Friday, March 20, 2026
• 07:00 – Breakfast
• 08:00 – Meet in front of the hotel, fully equipped (shovel, probe, transceiver, skis/splitboard, skins, crampons, ice axe)
• Bring picnic lunch, water, and snacks
• 09:00–16:00 – Safety workshops: victim search, snow analysis, rope techniques, first aid
• 17:30 – Talk. The topic of this year is Fear!
• 19:30 – Dinner
• Overnight at Hotel Regina

• 07:00 – Breakfast
• 08:00 – Meet ready with all technical gear, sleeping liner, and overnight items
• Bring picnic lunch, water, and snacks
• 09:00–16:00 – Ski / splitboard tour
• 16:00 – Arrival at mountain hut & aperitif
• 19:00 – Dinner
• Overnight at mountain hut
