A RESPONSIBLE APPROACH
LENSES BY CARL ZEISS, ITALY

CASES BY ZELLER TANNERY, SWITZERLAND
FRAMES MADE IN THE ALPS

We work with companies based in the Alps to guarantee the traceability and quality of our products. Promoting short consumption circuits is our priority.
We want to distance ourselves from the traditional industrial model, with the aim of producing responsibly the best products with the highest local added value.
We selected a dark category 3 coating to ensure confort in all situations and a light category 4 for all terrain. Both categories 3 and 4 fit perfectly for mountains activities. For people who are mainly using our sunglasses in high mountains we recommend category 4 lenses.
Our sunglasses case are proudly 100% hand made in Switzerland. The leather comes from the Zeller Tannery, in Steffisburg. Jürg Zeller is the fifth generation to run one of the last tannery in Switzerland. Jürg only uses organic treatment to tan the leather. Handemade by Clément Henriot, St-Légier.
We work with family businesses located around the Alps and Jura. Our frames are made of titanium and recycled inox. Offering a metal frame means greater durability in the life cycle.
"I wore my Vorab sunglasses all week at La Cordée in Évolène—they're magical! In fact, my brother Tanguy borrowed them one day... and the next day he won a silver medal at the Slalom World Championships. Some say it was luck... I say it was Vorab."
Tamara Nef, ski instructor and mountaineer
“When you reach the summit of K2, the last thing you want to worry about is whether your sunglasses are going to stay on. With my Moiry sunglasses, I was totally zen. They've been with me on all my 8,000-meter climbs!”
Christine Vogondy, Himalyan climber
"The morning light is low, I'm hanging from a winch and the helicopter blades are spinning above my head. I have a patient to rescue and at times like this, I'm glad I have sunglasses that stay on my nose!"
Alex Emery - Emergency doctor at Air-Glaciers
“One day I was looking for my Pierredar glasses, until I realized they were on my nose! Lightweight and ultra-comfortable, I highly recommend them for Hautes-routes.”
Julian Fuersinger - Mountain guide in Engelberg (Switzerland)
“We needed sturdy stainless steel sunglasses for our outings, with lenses that wouldn't scratch our eyes. The Pierredar is the ultimate speed sunglass, we approve!”
Damien Arnaud and Mathieu Moullier, sales gosses and steep skiers in Chamonix.
“Even on big overhangs, my Palü glasses don't move an inch. They've quickly become my go-to climbing glasses!”
Julien Bédat, freerideur and climber
